The total number of viable cells(lactic acid bacteria) in starter concentrates is minimum 1*10 10 cfu/g

Microbiological contaminants*:

Non-lactic acid bacteria: < 100 cfu/ ml

Enterobacteriaceae: absent in 10 ml

Yeast and Moulds: <10 cfu/ml

L. monocytogenes : absent in 1 ml

*according to international standard test methods (IDF)

Storage:

The quality of DVI is guaranteed until the expiry date mentioned on the packing, provided it is continuously stored at -35C or lower.

Package/Dosage:

Starter concentrates are packed in cups of 125g or 350g.

Standard dosage:

A cup of 125 gram is enough for the preparation of 1000litres bulkstarter.
